Windows 10 Anniversary Update has started rolling out since last week and Microsoft has improved and added many new features to the Edition. One of them is the Family features that has received thorough brush up. In this regard, Microsoft has sent mails to the users individually to inform that they have ameliorated the Family Features to a good extent. Check out which new features have been added to the Update.
Users can now manage the Family Features of Windows 10, Windows Phones and Xbox all under one roof. Users can now add family members directly through their account. This means they will no longer need to send mails to the family members individually. The process has been made more simple and viable. With the new enhancements being made to the Family features, parents can now monitor their child’s online activities through weekly emails which can be configured via the family account. The company also claims to make the web browsing experience for children more safe and secured. Generally most of the browsers do not have strong filtering menu. Microsoft added, “to keep your children safer, we’ll automatically block these browsers on their devices. You can always choose to allow your child to use other browsers.”
Microsoft has also worked on the Windows Store, where parent users can set the limit of expenses the children can make in the Windows Store. The new settings will include review of billing information and credit card information and also enabling children to access only age appropriate content.
