FaceTime coming to Windows and Android very soon

FaceTime and FaceTime Audio have been available only to Apple platforms. You can use FaceTime only if you own an iPhone, iPad, Mac etc. There is a good news for Android and Windows users. Apple is planning to make FaceTime available for both Windows and Android devices.

Apple made this announcement at the keynote speech of WWDC 2021. Windows operating system will get a web interface of FaceTime, especially users who do not own an iPhone or iPad. Apple announced a lot about iOS 15, iPadOS 15, tvOS 15, and macOS Monterey. Apple has not mentioned, when exactly will the web version of FaceTime will come. Buts it is anticipated that the web version will come by Fall, 2021. As tech experts think, releasing the web version of FaceTime is a part of Apple’s plan to compete with Zoom and Google Meet. At the keynote event, Apple announced that they will incorporate new innovative features in FaceTime, such as, grid view, sound quality improvements, background blur facility, portrait mode, etc.

To avail these new features, you must have the latest updated versions iOS, iPad OS, macOS and tvOS. These features will help FaceTime become a complete package experience for both formal office meets, to casual video call parties.
