How to restart Windows Explorer in Windows 8 / Windows 8.1?

Some times Windows Explorer malfunctions due to some problems in the installed programs, machine crash and many other reasons. In that case, sometimes it becomes difficult to operate the Windows Explorer and the only solution is to restart it using the Task Manager. Steps to restart Windows Explorer in Windows 8

1. Open Task Manager. Press ALT+CTRL+DEL and then select Task Manager.

2. As Task Manager opens, you will get a compact view, then click on More Details to get full account of both the Apps and processes running background.

3. In the Processes Tab, under Apps section, there is Windows Explorer.

4. Click Restart located at the right bottom corner of Task Manager.
