Microsoft expressed their enthusiasm and eagerness to merge Outlook across all platforms, at the Ignite conference, held last year. The Outlook email client will navigate to a web-based platform. The new web integration project will be powered by Outlook on the web Powered Experiences (OPX). The project has been code named as Project Monarch. The Preview build of the app will be released later this year. The public release will be in 2022.
Microsoft has recently posted the release notes for the Office Insiders Beta channel Build. The released notes takes about Microsoft Outlook, the notable fixes, the Org explorer icon from the home ribbon, etc. Along with it, they also posted a screenshot of the redesigned Outlook client. The screenshot shows two outlook windows, with the foreground showing the new Org explorer.
According to the Release Notes, the Org Feature is a new application that guides you to explore and conceptualise the people and teams around you. The release notes says about the Org explorer, “To give it a try, select the Org Explorer icon from the Home ribbon. You will see a pleasing visual display showing the people from your team or organization; select a person’s card or icon to view more details about them.”
