One computer can have multiple user accounts for different users. One user can’t use the computer for all the time depriving other users. So, user switching must have to be done. In that case the user should leave the computer for another user’s use. You may also want to Log off your computer from a user account and log in to another account, if you have some system administration jobs. Loging off from computer is a basic operation, that every user should know. Windows 8 has come with a new User Interface. Some beginers may find it difficult to sign out or log off from his user account; in that case this tutorial will help them.
Steps to Log off in Windows 8
At first, you have to open Windows 8 Start Screen (previously known as Metro Screen) by pressing the Windows Key.
Now, look at the top right corner of the Windows 8 Start Screen. Your User name will be shown there. Right-click on it and then select Sign out option to log off from your user account.
