Microsoft asked for feedback on its icons at Feedback lab, which showed up a host of new Desktop icons. A user of the Neowin news channel forum reported that he was able to complete a survey of Windows upcoming icons which showcased all differently designed apps. In case you are not aware of Feedback lab, Feedback Lab is Microsoft’s online feedback platform where members can participate in surveys and provide feedback on upcoming Windows UI features.

Microsoft shows up new line of icons at Feedback Lab

The Feedback Lab membership were sent to only few members and can no further membership is available. If you try to join you’ll receive a message “We appreciate your interest in joining the Feedback Lab, however, the group you qualify for is already full and, unfortunately, we aren’t accepting any more members right now. Thank you for your time, and we look forward to hearing from you in the future!” So right now, you won’t be able to join Feedback lab. But still you can visit the site following this link.

From the screenshot we can see the icons for Recycle Bin, PC, Windows Drive, Print, Random pictures have been changed. Not only icons but name of Recycle Bin has been changed to Recycle. In few of the previous articles, we wrote that many screenshots of leaked builds showed up a different looking Recycle Bin. Even a list of updated icons were produced for the apparently upcoming build 10036. However, while users started to comment and express their love or disgrace for the icons, Gabriel Aul confirmed that Windows 10 Build 10036 will not come up for public. So right now, all we can do is to wait and watch.
