The public testing on Microsoft’s new Chromium based Edge browser is available to public through Canary and Dev channels. These two channels are updated on a periodic basis. The Beta channel is supposed to be updated every six weeks, but it has shown as “coming soon” from the beginning.

The public testing versions have been leaked for Windows back in May of this year. Now, Edge Beta for Mac has been leaked by Microsoft leakster WalkingCat.

The leaked version will not offer any stability that you might be expecting from the Beta Channel. This is one reason why Microsoft has not made this Beta public. As the Redmond based tech giant is testing Edge Beta through a number of channels, not every Build has the same Beta quality that a public release has. So, if you install this on your Mac, all you’re getting is the new ‘Beta’ banner across the Edge logo. It may have several bugs.

Microsoft’s Chromium-based Edge browser has been leaked several times before. The original Canary and Dev Builds for macOS were also leaked ahead of its scheduled time. As normal users, you should not fall prey of these unstable leaks.
