Scheduled maintenance is performing various internal functioning within the computer and enabling automatic scheduling wakes up the computer at a stipulated time when the computer is not in use or in hibernate mode to perform those functions. The time chosen by default is 3 AM assuming that the computer is not in use generally at that hours. In case the computer is used at that time, scheduling is postponed and resumed next time when the machine is shut down.

1. Click on the arrow in the Taskbar and click on the Flag and select Open Action Center.

2. Under Maintenance tab, find out Change maintenance Settings under Automatic Meintenance.

3. Check option Allow Scheduled maintenance to wake up my computer at the scheduled time. Click Ok.
