What is AutoPlay?

We are often familiar with “AutoPlay” whenever we connect a removable USB Drive like a pen drive or a digital camera. AutoPlay actually features any new drive discovered by the machine by displaying some features in order to simplify handling of such removable drives. The AutoPlay feature was first introduced with Windows 98 and is still in use. Whenever your machine detects a drive, it starts looking for properties of the device or content on the medium so that AutoPlay can present a set of meaningful and required function to the user.
