State Bank of India has recently launched an app dedicated for the banking operations for SBI account holders. The name of the app is SBI Quick and this time it’s for Windows Phone users. State Bank of India is an India based multinational bank which has developed an app for its account holders who are simultaneously Windows Phone users. Windows Phones might not impress many countries but one country which has become a good hub for Windows Phone users is undoubtedly India.
Hence, many app for India based companies and banks are available in the Windows Phone Stores. The app will facilitate the State Bank of India users to carry out a plethora of operations such as balance inquiry, mini statement, blocking of ATM card, car and home loan inquiry etc. Users can login to the account using their mobile number which is registered with his/her SBI account.
MISSED CALL BANKING is a new service from the Bank which involves Banking by giving a Missed Call or sending an SMS with pre-defined keywords to pre-defined mobile numbers. Available for SB/CA/Overdraft/Cash-credit/Loan accounts.
SBI Quick has right now the following functionalities of SB, CA, Overdraft, Cash-credit, and Loan accounts only. There’s also a FAQ page where you can find a proper guideline of using the app. Users can also block their ATM cards in case of theft. They need to send any sms to 567676. SMS charge will be the ususal premium rates by the service provider.
