There have been much speculations regarding the launch of Windows 9 codenamed as Windows Threshold, tentatively on September 30th of this year. This version would be a great resource to the developers. But organizations who are already reliable Microsoft partners, there is high probability that they might have access to the this build. But these partnerships will certainly not be a good resource for leakers. Microsoft has planned to take special measures and every feature of the product will not be enabled in the builds. Neither shall we be able to know about them through their partner’s access to them as many strict security features have been incorporated to refrain anyone from viewing the contents.

Microsoft Partners get access to Windows Threshold Builds

This access to the partners of the software giant is important since they need to be informed on the product specifications and the company’s vision towards the business. Coming to the specifications, the Start menu is reported to be back officially with Windows Threshold (also called Windows 9) which was absent in the Windows 8 along with plethora of new features. The update version Windows 8.1 brought back the Start Menu. We also heard that the new version might quit the Charms Bar. But the interesting news is Cortana integration with Windows 9. Cortana is available till now in mobile OS Windows Phone 8.1. With the developer preview getting close, it is expected that more information on this product will be revealed.
