Chuwi is a Chinese manufacturer that has been consistently manufacturing Windows 10 devices with great specifications but at reasonable price. Over the past year and a half, Chuwi launched a plethora of devices like Vi8 Plus tablet, the Hi12 slate, and the HiBook 2-in-1. In December 2016, the company released Lapbook 14.1. Within a quarter of a year, it has come up with a new version of the device, that’s Lapbook 12.3.
We can understand that the new version has a comparatively smaller screen size than its predecessor. The device resolution, however, has been revamped to match the resolution of the high end Surface Pro 4.
Chuwi has not officially declared the specifications of Lapbook 12.3. But as far as news is concerned, we could get a glimpse of the specifications:
1. The device sports a 12.3-inch display with 2736x1824px resolution which is same as that of Surface Pro 4.
2. It’s powered by Intel Apollo Lake N3450 processor with HD 500 graphics.
3. The device comes with a powerful 6GB RAM and an on-board storage of 64GB.
4. Other important spec includes Dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi
5. 2 x USB Type-A ports and
6. 3.5mm audio port
Since not much information could be furnished about Lapbook 12.3, we cannot say the price. The 14.1 version was priced below $300. Hence, we can have an estimation that the prce of the new device will be in sync with its predecessor.
